Really grateful to MedStory News MedStory Studios for giving me the opportunity to share a little bit of my journey as a physician-founder and what building Rest & Rx Rest & Rx has taught me so far.

Healthcare is changing so much, and building something for the people working inside of this system has made me think differently about what we as healthcare workers need. Building something like this requires listening, testing, and being willing to rethink what you thought you knew. Hope you enjoy.

I became a doctor at 25 and finished my training at 28, and I don’t take that lightly. I’ve been challenged, looked at sideways, and met with confusion when introducing myself as a doctor.

Needless to say, the credentials are still there. And they always will be. 💁🏾‍♀️

Next month, we’re fighting for breast cancer but the breast cancer collection is out now. Wearing pink for the patients fighting, the survivors, and their families. 🎀
