One of the most under the radar auteurs in his class, Jerry LaMothe is a writer/director/producer born and raised in East Flatbush, Brooklyn. In 2000, the multi-hyphenate talent released his directorial debut; the award-winning feature film Amour Infinity, which he produced, wrote, directed, and starred in. The film is regarded by many as an underground cult classic. He has since gone on to build a distinctive body of work.
In 2020, the indie filmmaker-along with his cast and crew made history by becoming the first production in the U.S. (greenlit by SAG-AFTRA) to commence and complete production during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Created/co-written/executive produced and directed by LaMothe, the result is the 6-part Limited Series, Terror Lake Drive.
Shot in an astounding 19 days, the psychological drama that was released Thanksgiving 2020, on AMC's backed streaming service, UMC.
*Terror Lake Drive is a suspenseful drama that follows a single mother from Baltimore who – on the heels of a recent pandemic and growing social unrest – relocates to Atlanta in an attempt to dodge her troubled past. (Starring: Donielle T. Hansley Jr., Shannon Kane, Malik Yoba, Michael Chenevert and Lamman Rucker.
