Curaçao is one of those places that’s even better once you know what to expect 🇨🇼✨
• Don’t skip the food trucks 🌮Some of the popular ones:
Pasawa
Ceviche 91
BBQ Express Jan Thiel
• Rent a car 🚗The best beaches are spread out, and taxis add up fast.
If you want the soft white sand + crystal clear water beaches with little to no rocks, my favorites were:🏝️ Cas Abao (~40 min from Punda)🏝️ Grote Knip (~50 min from Punda)🏝️ Porto Mari (~35 min from Punda)
• Klein Curaçao is BEAUTIFUL 🌊But go knowing it’s more of a boat/beach day — not bars, restaurants, or activities.
• Curaçao is NOT really an all-inclusive party island 🍹It’s more laid-back, slower paced, beautiful beaches, colorful streets, and relaxing energy.
BUT… don’t skip Punda Vibes 💃🏽Every Thursday night the streets come alive with music, dancing, vendors, and fireworks. Honestly one of my favorite parts of the trip.
Also… if you’re looking for nightlife, just know things don’t really start picking up until Thursday through the weekend.
