didn’t build Ellaé Lisqué by waiting for fashion’s approval.

She built it by knowing her customer, controlling her production, learning from expensive mistakes, and understanding that the women who actually buy the clothes are the real influencers.

With Ellaé Lisqué’s summer CEO capsule collection in mind, we spoke with the founder about what it really takes to build a brand: fit, infrastructure, customer loyalty, direct-to-consumer power, and doing it on your own terms.

The 2026 Met Gala theme, “Fashion Is Art,” asked celebrities to do more than look good.

The strongest looks understood the body as part of the artwork.

Black dominated the carpet. Sheer dressing was everywhere. And Robert Wun quietly became one of the night’s clearest designer signals.

I broke down the biggest patterns of the night — plus the best and weakest looks — now on The Sitch.

Styling isn’t about clothes anymore. It’s about identity.

What Sam Woolf is doing with Doechii in Runway with Lady Gaga isn’t just fashion. It’s authorship.

Every look feels exaggerated, theatrical, almost unreal. And that’s the point.

These aren’t outfits you wear.
They’re outfits you perform in.

And honestly, most people don’t even realize that’s where fashion is right now.

Follow if you’re paying attention to fashion like this.

Everyone’s watching Cardi.

But the real story might be her stylist.

Kollin Carter doesn’t just put looks together—he builds a world around them.

Every outfit feels dramatic, intentional, and completely aligned with who Cardi is.

That’s the difference between styling and identity.

Who really shaped this era?

Why are designers suddenly working with Zara, Old Navy, and Gap?

It’s not random.

As luxury slows, something is shifting—and designers are responding.

Not by raising their prices, but by expanding their target demographic.

Smart move… or does it dilute the brand?

Not everything expensive actually feels expensive anymore.

Somewhere along the way, fashion traded distinction for consistency, and now everything sits in the same visual language.

The brands that stand out aren’t flashier but clearer.

This phenomenon is where perspective outclasses price.

Which brand still feels expensive to you?

Maximilian Davis made Ferragamo feel alive again, so why isn’t his name in more fashion conversations?

We talk a lot about hype, but not enough about intention, craft, or the people actually shifting a brand’s identity.

If relevance isn’t enough to get your flowers…what is?

Zendaya and Law Roach build narratives.

With her press run for her latest release, The Drama, every look followed a formula people clocked immediately:
something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue.

Law Roach doesn’t just style — he constructs moments with intention.

This is the difference between being well-dressed, and well, actually saying something.

And right now? Few are doing it at this level.

A lot of us are still trying to trace our roots.

Sometimes, those stories don’t get passed down and become buried by time.

Vi City speaks on identity, displacement, and the meaning behind his Venice Short Films Award-winning feature, American Clay.

Atlanta didn’t suddenly become stylish.

For decades, Atlanta has fostered a distinctive fashion ecosystem, from the city’s legendary department stores like Rich’s and Uptons in the 80s and 90s to its dynamic streetwear and luxury destinations like Wish ATL and ANT/DOTE. Atlanta’s approach to style has always been rooted in individuality.

Atlanta’s fashion sense stands apart. How people dress, move, and assemble outfits reflects a uniquely Atlanta identity — a recognizable, self-assured style that confidently declares, “You’re from Atlanta.” This signature flair is woven throughout the city’s fashion history.

Perhaps this distinct sartorial code is what differentiates Atlanta — some of it simply wasn’t designed to be replicated or broadcast online. This sense of authenticity continues to shape Atlanta’s distinctive look today.
