A 8-Year-Old Girl Calls 911 and Says, 'It Was My Dad and His Friend... Please Help Me!' — The Truth Brought Everyone to Tears
The truth leaves everyone with tears in their eyes.
After 15 years as a 911 dispatcher, Vanessa Gómez thought she’d heard it all — until a call at 2:17 p.m. one September afternoon stopped her cold.
“911, what’s your emergency?” she asked.
For three long seconds, there was silence. Then a small, shaky voice whispered, “It was my dad and his friend… please help me.”
The caller was Liliana, an 8‑year‑old whose voice trembled between sobs. She said her stomach hurt and kept getting bigger, and no one would take her to the doctor. Vanessa could hear a TV playing cartoons in the background — but no adults, no movement.
“Where are your parents?” Vanessa asked.
“Mom is asleep because her body is fighting her again. Dad is at work,” Liliana said quietly. “I think what they gave me made me sick.”
Trying to stay calm, Vanessa signaled her supervisor while dispatching Officer José López to the home.
“Look out your window, sweetheart,” she said gently. “A police officer is coming to help you.”
Vanessa heard soft footsteps, then a tiny breath.
“I see the patrol car… he’s going to fix my tummy,” Liliana whispered.
“He’s going to help you,” Vanessa assured her. “Stay with me, and open the door when he knocks.”
Officer López approached the modest one-story house on Maple Street....😱😱 Continuation in the first comment 👇👇
