This week’s testimonial comes from my ol’ broadcast training client, TV/radio college basketball analyst, former NCAA basketball coach, and the youngest coach to ever reach the NCAA “Sweet Sixteen,” Todd Bozeman.

Todd works as a college basketball TV/radio analyst with HBCUGO TV and IBI Media Consultant Group, bringing a unique perspective as a former coach, scout, player evaluator and basketball strategist. Todd has also appeared as a guest NBA analyst on NBC Sports’ Brother From Another and covered the MEAC Tournament for L2 Productions and ESPN.
But Todd’s basketball résumé goes well beyond broadcasting.

He is the former men’s head basketball coach at the University of California, Berkeley, where Todd became the youngest coach in NCAA history to reach the Sweet Sixteen at just 29 years old. During his six seasons at Cal, Todd led the Golden Bears to three NCAA Tournament appearances, produced three nationally ranked recruiting classes and developed six NBA players, including four first-round draft picks.

Todd then went on to lead Morgan State University for 13 seasons, becoming the program’s all-time winningest coach. He guided the Bears to their first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance, three consecutive MEAC regular-season championships, three consecutive 20-win seasons and six MEAC Tournament championship game appearances in his first eight seasons. Todd was also named MEAC Coach of the Year three consecutive times and earned national recognition as the Hugh Durham National Coach of the Year.

Todd's experience also includes serving as an assistant coach at the University of Rhode Island, where he worked in player development, recruiting and game preparation.

And Todd’s basketball expertise extends all the way to the NBA level. He previously served as an advance scout for the Toronto Raptors, where Todd contributed to the franchise’s first playoff appearance and helped oversee the development of young players, including Tracy McGrady and Vince Carter. Todd also worked as an NBA scout for the Vancouver Grizzlies and currently provides scouting intelligence on NBA free agents and draft prospects through IBI Scouting Service, working with information used by multiple NBA franchises.

For this week’s , I’m excited to highlight the incredible journey of my longtime ol' media training and PR client, 15-year NFL veteran, three-time Pro Bowler, two-time All-Pro, ESPN Radio Co-Host, Compass Media Networks Football Analyst, and 2023 Modern-Era Pro Football Hall of Fame nominee, Chad Brown.

"As an athlete and now as an ex-athlete, I’ve always looked at coaching as essential to my growth. Annie’s informational, instructive sessions included strategies and tips that I could easily put into action. I got good at being in front of media and presented myself in a more polished manner on camera because of her training," says Chad.

When Chad transitioned from his illustrious NFL career to broadcasting, he understood the power of a strong media presence. In our first 18 months of working together, I secured him 225 media appearances across national and local TV, radio, podcasts, and digital platforms. From being a frequent co-host on ESPN Radio to serving as a Denver Broncos analyst for 9News Denver, Chad has consistently been in the public eye.

But our work didn’t stop at football. I’ve also had the unique opportunity to promote Chad’s entrepreneurial passion for reptiles through his business, "Ship Your Reptiles." From strengthening his presence in sports media to amplifying his personal brand, working with Chad has been a fulfilling journey. I can't wait to see where his next chapter leads!

For this week’s , goes to my broadcast training client Super Bowl Champion, All-American, TV/radio College Football and NFL analyst, sports media personality and podcast host, Marshall Newhouse.

Most recently, Marshall was announced as the sideline football analyst for CW Sports as part of the Mountain West broadcast crew this fall. I was thrilled to pitch Marshall for this opportunity and help facilitate the connection—and, of course, Marshall did the rest by bringing his talent, experience and expertise to the audition. So proud of him!

Marshall is the co-host of the Just Win Podcast alongside Ted Nguyen of The Athletic, where they provide in-depth coverage of the Las Vegas Raiders and the NFL through film-based analysis, player insights, interviews and football breakdowns. The podcast is distributed across YouTube, Spotify and Apple Podcasts.

Marshall also serves as the TCU Football Radio Color Analyst, providing in-game analysis for TCU football games alongside play-by-play announcer Brian Estridge, football analyst Elvis Gallegos and the Horned Frog Sports Network production crew.

Additionally, Marshall served as a studio sports analyst for DraftKings, where he contributed to live on-air NFL segments, game analysis and production for bi-weekly shows throughout the NFL season, including coverage surrounding Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans.

Marshall brings an extraordinary playing career to every broadcast. He spent 11 years in the NFL, appearing in 133 games with 81 starts after being selected in the fifth round of the 2010 NFL Draft. Marshall became a Super Bowl Champion with the Green Bay Packers and also played for the Cincinnati Bengals, New York Giants, Oakland Raiders, Buffalo Bills, Carolina Panthers, New Orleans Saints, New England Patriots and Tennessee Titans.

Marshall’s accomplishments extend well beyond the broadcast booth. He has served as an Athlete in Residence with Next Legacy Partners, an Angel Investor, and as a Techstars Sports Accelerator Advisor, while also serving on the NFL Players Association Athlete Advisory Board. Marshall earned his Executive MBA from TCU’s Neeley School of Business, further expanding his expertise beyond football.

This week’s testimonial comes from the first four-time Kodak All-American, Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame Inductee, Women's Basketball Hall of Fame Inductee, FIBA Hall of Fame Inductee, award-winning broadcaster, and author Ann Meyers Drysdale. I met Ann during my time media training all of the WNBA teams!

Ann is no stranger to being a trailblazer! Most recently, she was inducted into the 2025 Huntington Beach Sports Hall of Fame in Orange County, California—another well-deserved honor recognizing her incredible impact on basketball and sports. She was the first player drafted by the Women's Professional Basketball League (WBL), an early women’s professional basketball league in the United States, and the first woman to receive a full athletic scholarship to UCLA. Ann was also among the first women inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame. Additionally, she is the first and only woman to be signed as a player in the NBA, where Ann joined the Indiana Pacers in 1979. Later, she became the first woman to serve as a commentator for the Indiana Pacers. Ann's influence didn’t stop on the court. After her playing days, Ann became a broadcasting trailblazer — the first woman to broadcast an NBA game and a longtime analyst for networks and major events, including multiple Summer Olympics.

Ann is currently the Vice President of the Phoenix Suns and Mercury. She was also the General Manager of the Phoenix Mercury winning three WNBA Championships. Ann is a commentator for both teams!

In addition, WNBA announced that Ann has been named the recipient of the 2024 Kobe and Gigi Bryant Advocacy Award. She was also named by Time Magazine as one of the Top 10 Female Sports Pioneers in 2008.

Ann's legacy is so impactful that the U.S. Basketball Writers Association named an award in her honor—the Ann Meyers Drysdale Award, which recognizes the top women’s college basketball player in the country each year. So proud of everything Ann has achieved in her career!!

Fun fact! Ann is a silver medalist from the 1976 Olympics—the first year women's basketball was included—and the author of the memoir "You Let Some Girl Beat You?,” a must-read for any fan of the game.

This week’s is a special one—I'm feeling especially grateful after receiving this incredible heartfelt testimonial from my longtime ol’ media training, PR and now talent client, 12-year NFL veteran, ESPN college football analyst and entrepreneur, Tyoka Jackson.

"One of the first things I really recognized about Annie that set her apart was her energy. Just a positive person, always smiling. Annie really instilled a lot of confidence in me when I met her and talked to her. Made me feel good about the direction I was going. I learned a lot in terms of the fundamentals of broadcasting," says Tyoka.

That’s exactly why I love what I do. There is nothing more rewarding than helping someone recognize their own potential, build confidence and take that confidence into the next chapter of their career. I’m so grateful for the trust my clients place in me and for the opportunity to be part of their journeys.

Tyoka is a respected voice in college football, providing analysis for ESPN & NFL Network and has made weekly appearances on SiriusXM Big Ten Radio. He has also been a college football analyst with ESPN, heading into his 10th season of delivering insightful college football coverage.

Tyoka's football career speaks for itself: a standout at Penn State, he was a member of the university’s 1990s All-Decade Team. Tyoka continued to excel, earning second-team All-East honors as a junior and first-team All-Big Ten recognition his senior season. Tyoka capped off his college career as a starter in the Senior Bowl All-Star game and finished second all-time in sacks for the Nittany Lions.

During his NFL career, Tyoka played for the Falcons, Dolphins, Buccaneers, Rams, and Lions, spending time under Hall of Fame coaches Don Shula and Tony Dungy as well as respected leaders like Herm Edwards and Lovie Smith. His most impactful years came with the St. Louis Rams, where Tyoka played in Super Bowl LII, served as a team captain from 2003-2005 and was voted to the franchise’s 10th Anniversary Team.

Fun fact! Tyoka is the founder and president of the Jackson Investment Company LLC. His investment company was responsible for bringing the first two IHOP restaurants to Washington, D.C. Also, Tyoka played for my late uncle, Frank Gansz Sr., a legendary NFL special teams coach widely regarded as one of the best in league history, who was a big fan of Tyoka just like me!
