For this week’s , goes to my PR client USA National Best-Selling Author and M&A Expert Brandon Blewett, who was a featured guest on Queen City News "Positively Charlotte," in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Brandon talks with host Liza Mahachek about how early travelers should arrive at the airport. They discuss that while airlines recommend arriving two hours before a flight, it’s not always necessary—especially if you’re not checking a bag. Brandon mentions that skipping checked luggage can save time, and arriving about an hour and a half early is usually safe, considering potential long security lines and crowds of vacationing families.

Brandon is the co-author of the USA National Best-seller "Leadership DNA" and the author of "How To Avoid Strangers on Airplanes: A Survival Guide for the Frequent Business Traveler," which is also making waves as an Amazon #1 New Release! You can grab your own copies of Brandon's books on Amazon Kindle, Barnes & Noble, or Kobo!

As the Head of Corporate Development at the largest private equity-backed pavement services roll-up, Brandon has led over $210 billion in global transactions, helping entrepreneurs turn “sweat equity” into tangible financial success.

Fun Fact! When he’s not driving deals, doing media hits or writing best-sellers, Brandon is an SMU Mustangs Football superfan who never misses a chance to cheer on his alma mater.

Happy

This week’s quote comes from the world No. 2 in singles and former No. 1 in doubles by the WTA — the youngest woman in history to win the U.S. Open, claiming the title in 2023 at just 19 years old — and a winner of seven career singles titles and nine doubles titles, American tennis sensation, Coco Gauff.

Gauff emphasizes that we should never restrict our ambitions based on others’ opinions or limitations. This encourages us to dream boldly and believe that there are no boundaries to what we can achieve, reminding us that the possibilities in life are truly endless when we have the courage to pursue them.

Coco Gauff, one of the brightest stars in tennis, has captured 11 career singles titles, including two major championships — the 2023 U.S. Open, where she made history as the youngest woman ever to win the title, and the 2025 French Open — along with the 2024 WTA Finals crown. In doubles, Gauff has claimed ten titles, including the 2024 French Open alongside Kateřina Siniaková. Since bursting onto the scene at just 15 years old with a stunning Wimbledon run that included a victory over Venus Williams, Gauff has continued to make history and inspire a new generation of athletes with her talent, determination, and poise.

For this week’s , goes to my PR client USA National Best-Selling Author and M&A Expert Brandon Blewett, who was a featured guest on 105.3 The Fan "Fan After Dark" Podcast in Dallas, Texas.

Brandon talks with hosts Fred Davis and Blake Elliott about what it takes to become a “million miler,” sharing how he used to rack up miles through international business trips but now mostly flies domestically. Brandon jokes that one perk might be the airline calling to wish him a happy birthday before his parents do.

Brandon is the co-author of the USA National Best-seller "Leadership DNA" and the author of "How To Avoid Strangers on Airplanes: A Survival Guide for the Frequent Business Traveler," which is also making waves as an Amazon #1 New Release! This week's testimonial comes from my ol' broadcast training client, Pac-12 Network baseball analyst, Buffalo Baseball Hall of Fame inductee, and former MLB player Ben Francisco.

I had the chance to meet Ben through my sweet friend, play-by-play announcer Joe Castellano who worked with him at the Pac-12 Network.

Currently, Ben is the Outfield and Baserunning Coordinator for the Los Angeles Angels.

Ben was drafted by the Cleveland Indians (now Cleveland Guardians) in the fifth round of the 2002 MLB Draft. His debut in the majors was memorable, to say the least! After being called up from the Triple-A Buffalo Bisons, Ben recorded his first hit and first home run during his first major league start. But that's not all, his homerun was the game-winning walk-off for the Cleveland Indians against the Tampa Bay Devil Rays in 2007.

Ben also played for other MLB teams like the Philadelphia Phillies, Toronto Blue Jays, Houston Astros, Tampa Bay Rays, and New York Yankees.

In 2022, Ben was inducted into the Buffalo Baseball Hall of Fame, in recognition of his three seasons with the Buffalo Bisons.

Happy

This week’s quote comes from eight-time Ballon d'Or awardee, four-time Best FIFA Men's Player, three-time UEFA Best Player in Europe, 16-time Footballer of the Year, named All Time Men's World Best Player by The International Federation of Football History & Statistics (IFFHS), the most decorated player in the history of professional football with 45 team trophies to his name, and widely regarded as one of the greatest players of all time, Lionel Messi

Messi emphasizes that the greater the sacrifices one makes—the time, effort, and dedication poured into their craft—the greater the rewards that follow. True success doesn’t come easily; it’s earned through persistence, discipline, and the willingness to give up comfort in pursuit of excellence.

Lionel Messi has redefined the beautiful game with a career that spans more than two decades. A record-breaker and history-maker, he holds the record for the most goals in a calendar year (91), most goals for a single club (672 for Barcelona), most goals in La Liga (474), most assists in international football (60), most goal contributions in the FIFA World Cup (21), and most goal contributions in the Copa América (32). With over 880 career goals and 390+ assists, Messi has an astonishing 1,270+ total goal contributions—the highest in football history. A prolific goalscorer, creative playmaker, and global icon, Messi’s legacy is one of pure greatness.

For this week’s goes to my ol’ media training, PR and talent client, 12-year NFL veteran, ESPN college football analyst and entrepreneur, Tyoka Jackson, who was a guest on SiriusXM College Sports Radio.

In this clip, Tyoka talks with hosts EJ Manuel and Jacob Hester about the current hierarchy within the Big Ten Conference. He notes that Ohio State remains the top team—the defending national champion and the one everyone has to beat—thanks to its strong roster, coaching staff, and experience.

Tyoka is a respected voice in college football, providing analysis for ESPN, and has made weekly appearances on SiriusXM Big Ten Radio. His football career speaks for itself: a standout at Penn State, Tyoka was a member of the university’s 1990s All-Decade Team. He continued to excel, earning second-team All-East honors as a junior and first-team All-Big Ten recognition his senior season. Tyoka capped off his college career as a starter in the Senior Bowl All-Star game and finished second all-time in sacks for the Nittany Lions.

During his NFL career, Tyoka played for the Falcons, Dolphins, Buccaneers, Rams, and Lions, spending time under Hall of Fame coaches Don Shula and Tony Dungy as well as respected leaders like Herm Edwards and Lovie Smith. His most impactful years came with the St. Louis Rams, where Tyoka played in Super Bowl LII, served as a team captain from 2003-2005 and was voted to the franchise’s 10th Anniversary Team.

Fun fact! Tyoka is the founder and president of the Jackson Investment Company LLC. His investment company was responsible for bringing the first two IHOP restaurants to Washington, D.C.
