This week's testimonial comes from my friend, six-time Emmy Award-winning producer and director, Glenn Adamo. I had the pleasure of working with Glenn at the NFL Broadcast Boot Camp, which he co-created.
Glenn brings four decades of leadership in media, technology, broadcasting, and entertainment—transforming organizations with innovative, cost-effective strategies that drive growth, streamline operations, and integrate emerging technologies.
Currently, Glenn is the Founder and Principal of Ivanhoe Media & Entertainment, a strategic consultancy that helps organizations navigate the rapidly evolving media landscape, elevate performance, and shape company culture. Ivanhoe specializes in strategy, content, production, operations, and scalable growth at the intersection of technology and digital media. In addition, Glenn is a Media and Operations Consultant to the NHL.
He also serves as Managing Director of The Switch Sports Production Services—the strategic, creative, production, and distribution arm of The Switch—where Glenn delivers seamless live production for the world’s most demanding sports and entertainment environments, from studio to remote, live to OTT.
From 2003 to 2016, Glenn was Vice President of Production, Broadcasting, NFL Films, NFL Network & Media Operations for the National Football League (NFL). He oversaw Media Operations, Broadcasting, Scheduling, and NFL Films, launching and executing the creative vision for NFL Network, Thursday Night Football, NFL International production, and NFL Sunday Ticket. Glenn also led the NFL’s expansion into OTT distribution, virtual reality, and digital content libraries, pioneering next-generation media solutions.
Prior to that, he served as Vice President of Broadcasting, Entertainment & Community Development for the New Jersey Devils, where Glenn grew audience engagement through innovative media integration and community initiatives.
In addition, Glenn was Senior Vice President, Sports & Entertainment at Axient Communications, leading the groundbreaking IOC/NBC Olympics digital initiative that brought Sydney 2000 Olympic highlights directly to homes via the Internet—one of the industry’s first large-scale streaming deployments.
Glenn was also the Group Vice President of Broadcasting for the NHL, managing over $200M in annual revenue and securing a sevenfold increase in national television rights fees while launching NHL Productions and overhauling the league’s scheduling model to improve ratings and attendance.
Glenn began his career at NBC Sports, where he spent nearly 15 years as Coordinating Producer, overseeing the production and distribution of NBC’s marquee sports properties including NFL Football, NCAA Basketball, NBA on NBC, MLB Game of the Week, College Bowl Games, Wimbledon, the French Open, the NHL All-Star Game, and multiple Olympic Games.
So blessed to have worked with Glenn and to be able to call him friend.
Working alongside visionaries like Glenn reinforces why I do what I do—helping leaders, brands, and organizations amplify their voice, expand their reach, and own their narrative.
