⨠CANDLE UPDATE â¨
Weâre on Day 2 and she is burning beautifullyâbright flame, clean burn, and already almost halfway down. This is a 7-day candle, although mine typically finish much sooner. My shortest burn has been about 3 days, so Iâm watching this one closely. Iâm expecting Day 3â5. đĽ
And yes⌠that little blue tint in the flame? In my spiritual practice, I read that as a beautiful sign of spirit team, ancestors, and angelic support surrounding the work. đŻď¸đ
But what exactly is a Blockbuster Working?
This is the kind of work I reach for when things feel stagnant, delayed, blocked, or painfully slow despite the effort, faith, and intention youâre already putting in.
The purpose is to break through obstacles and shake loose whatâs keeping things from moving.
And baby⌠Blockbuster is not always gentle. đ
Think Moldavite âsometimes the clearing comes with a little upheaval because what needs to move⌠MOVES.
If you need something gentler, a Van Van Working may be more appropriate for cleansing, refreshing, and getting things flowing without such an aggressive energetic reset.
For my Blockbuster , I begin with my petitionâidentifying what I believe is blocking me, whether that obstacle is external or internal. And yes, sometimes we have to be honest enough to admit that we can be our own blockage.
I pair the working with specific herbs, Blockbuster oil, and candle work. You can absolutely work with a smaller taper or chime candle; the size doesnât determine the intention behind the work. I simply prefer a heavier 7-day candle for this particular working.
And because I practice Hoodoo, I also seal my work with Scripture.
The biggest ingredient, though?
Faith.
You cannot work against your own petition by constantly feeding doubt into it. This is spiritual work, so I approach it with intention, faith, and discernmentânot fear.
And this is only the beginning.
