Before Amen grew out of quiet moments when my spirit was noisy and my mind was full. These prayers are pieces of life gathered from long days, tender memories, and the kind of struggles that shape a person more than they break them. I wrote them to speak to the places we usually keep tucked away, the places that need a little truth and a little light.
As you turn these pages, take your time. Let the words move the way water moves, slow and steady, finding their way into whatever you are carrying today. If a line settles in your soul, hold on to it. If a prayer stirs something new, follow it.
My hope is simple. That you find a moment of peace here. A little clarity. A reminder that you are never walking through anything alone.
