The Larry Praylow Story Documentary Screening 🎥 📣

The debut screening date for the (Larry Praylow Story Documentary) will be December 1, 2026.

Mark your calendars for an evening of celebration and resilience as we share the story of Larry Praylow, a pioneer in the ballroom scene. 🎬

The grand opening screening will take place in New York City, followed by another screening in Dallas, TX, both in 2027. 👈🏽

Both screening dates will be revealed on December 1st, starting with the first screening in New York.

“IN MEMORY OF GEE: Addiction Awareness.” 👈🏾

I’ve got a million thoughts swirling around this project, and I’m driven to finish it fueled by the life and legacy of Gee. 🖤

Years later, I’ve gained a perspective: nothing can stop a vision destined for greatness.

Determined not to let anything derail this mission of awareness and positivity, here we stand.

Editing will kick off once the Larry Praylow documentary is wrapped up. 🎥

In the soulful streets of New Orleans, Gervais "Gee" Heath Allison, Jr., also known as “GEE,” sought redemption through vulnerability, eager to share his story to bring awareness and illuminate the shadows of addiction that many dare not confront, ultimately aiming to help others.

This documentary offers a glimpse into his testimony, alongside the stories of others, crafting a powerful narrative that challenges stigma and celebrates the enduring spirit of those fighting for their lives. This

film will be dedicated to his legacy, completing the vision inspired by his life. 🤞🏾🎥

Stacey moved to New York with her parents as a military baby. Everything took a turn when her father returned from the war suffering from PTSD due to combat trauma, which ultimately led to her parents' divorce.

She stayed in Queens, NY, with her mom.

Although she was well cared for, she always had to fend for herself as an only child. Stacey is loyal and a go-getter, proving to her mom that she won’t disappoint her.

She wears her heart on her sleeve, and even if she loves someone who might set her back, she stands ten toes down.

Female, mid-20s, Black. Shareef’s girlfriend and mother of his son. Beautiful with a natural appeal, strong, independent, and a reflection of her man, Shareef. A hustler at heart, she possesses both beauty and brains. Her looks can be deceiving, and she lets that play to her advantage, especially as Shareef’s backbone.

She grew up quickly and had his baby as a teenager. Stacey takes life seriously and is head over heels for Shareef. She is loyal, quick on her feet, more than just a pretty face, street-savvy, loving, and compassionate.

CHARACTER DESCRIPTION 🎥

Shareef is a Black male in his mid-20s—stone-cold, ruthless, strong, independent, a protector, aggressive, and serious. He rules with an iron fist, but he’s fair. He’s the perfect gentleman as long as the boundaries are not crossed. His whole life is built around principles.

A suave debonair ladies’ man, a pure charmer, he has a childhood lover who is also the mother of his child. He handpicks the ones who get to play on his team, managing the two worlds of his life with precision.

Shareef has been on his own since he was a young boy. His mother struggled with addiction, and he never met his father. He grew up fast, becoming a vicious drug dealer in the streets of Atlanta, navigating a double sexual lifestyle that complicates his already tumultuous existence.

Shareef was born in New York, but his mom ran away to the South to escape her abusive relationship with his father.

When he ran away as a teenager to find his father, his uncle told him that he had been murdered.

Just wanting answers, he returned to Atlanta. Shareef never liked jobs because he watched his mother hustle and learned that he could get more than less. He’s a holder of secrets, respected on the streets by everyone from the hardest to the established.

No one can really read him, and he leaves people both clueless and wanting to be around him. Raised in downtown Atlanta, he fell in love for the first time and they had a child together.

She doesn’t know he battles a closeted attraction, and his private life could unravel at any moment.

He’s quick-tempered and introverted, yet extroverted when it comes to handling business, with a soft spot in his heart for his family, but still unsure of himself.

His story has multiple layers like no other, along with wisdom for the culture. 🎥
