As I got older, I learned how important it is to see both sides, even when it’s uncomfortable. I’m not biased and I don’t play favorites. Friend, family, or whoever… if you wrong, you wrong, and I’m gon say that. I’m not defending nobody just because of a title. That’s how people stay stuck, because the ones closest to them never check them. When I talk about my own situations, I say what you did and what I did. I want to be corrected if I’m wrong, not told what I wanna hear. Growth don’t come from everybody being yes people, it come from honesty. That’s how you really elevate.

This year opened my eyes in ways I’ll never forget. I can’t see myself trusting people the same or dealing with certain folks how I used to. The disappointment I felt came from people I’d never expect to cross me. I got done wrong by some of the ones I cared for the most, and it changed something in me. My heart too big sometimes, and I’m mad I let it put me in positions I didn’t deserve. But I learned. I’m moving smarter now. I don’t force bonds, I don’t chase nobody, and I don’t ignore red flags. Everything that happened taught me exactly who to keep close… and who to stay away from 💯

I’m officially at the age where I don’t wanna be around people who aren’t self aware. People who keep putting themselves in bad situations, living toxic, having no priorities, making the same bad decisions, and never taking accountability. I don’t have the patience to sit around people who stay in drama and refuse to grow up. I want growth, discipline, and people who know how to check themselves. If you can’t do that, you can’t be around me. I’d rather be alone than surrounded by people who don’t get it… and that’s exactly where I’m at with it.

One thing that I've learned
That has changed me for the better dese past couple of years is that keeping ppl that don't deserve to be in your life rlly does have an impact on you, you jus don't kno it till your not in those same pair of shoes, only keep the one that show up when you don't when u don't ask for it. Keep the ones that love your flaws. Most definitely keep the ones who are very careful w you and constantly treat you the way you love and care for em without any type of gain. Some ppl take yo kindness as a weakness n result in hurting you cuz dey kno loving or forgiving or dat you care abt em too much but in honest truth dey Hella feel da same about you frrrr
