Casting call! We’re looking for girls ages 8-25 to be in a few videos for a well-known girls’ organization.
We’re working on several videos; the first will be a performance of a slam-style poetry piece and girls will just need to do a line or two at a time. The other videos will place the girls in different roles like cyclist, artist, martial artist, scientist, etc. No previous acting experience necessary but do need to have lots of energy and personality! The shoot will be no longer than 4 hours and rate starts at $100 and varies with ability and experience. The shoot will be in the Atlanta metro area later this month.
To audition, record a video that includes the following:
- Tell us your name and age
- Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do for fun? Are you involved in any activities (sports, clubs, etc)?
- Read this piece of the poem with as much personality and enthusiasm as you can give it:
“This is the moment to shout it out loud
Shattering glass ceilings
Aiming for the clouds.
We’ve all got a reason to be proud.
‘cause every girl….G.I.R.L.
has got the power to change the world.”
