5. Disappointment = Expectations - Reality: When our expectations exceed the reality of a situation, we can be left feeling disappointed. Adjusting our expectations and finding gratitude for what is can help alleviate disappointment.
6. Regret = Disappointment x Responsibility: When our disappointment is fueled by a sense of personal responsibility, it can lead to regret. Learning to let go of regret and accept that mistakes are a natural part of life can help find inner peace.
7. Jealousy = Envy + Resentment: When we compare ourselves to others and feel resentful or envious of their achievements or possessions, jealousy can arise. Practicing gratitude and focusing on our own journey can help combat jealousy.
8. Authenticity = Self-Awareness + Courage: When we are aware of our true selves and have the courage to be it, we can live authentically. Embracing our vulnerabilities and owning our uniqueness is key to authenticity.
