🚨 Walter Johnson, better known online as “Mr. Tendernism,” has officially secured the trademark for the viral catchphrase “Tendernism.”

After a dispute with Destination Smokehouse over the use of the name, Johnson worked with attorney Kenneth Harris to win the rights and clearing the way for him to launch his own business and brand built around the phrase that went viral.

But the story isn’t over yet.

Reports say a third party filed a new trademark application for “Tendernism” on Feb. 22, 2026, which could potentially lead to another legal battle over the name.

The bigger lesson:
When something you create goes viral, ownership matters.

Because in the age of the internet, a catchphrase can quickly turn into a real business.

🚨 SheaMoisture just dropped a new campaign called “The Silk Press Conference.”

The concept? A full-on investigation into how the girls are achieving the perfect silk press, led by celebrity stylist and fashion image architect Law Roach, known as one of the ultimate authorities on sleek, flawless hair.

The campaign also features some of the internet’s favorite it-girls including Kirah Ominique, Clarke Peoples, and other beauty creators, bringing together fashion, beauty, and influencer culture in one creative rollout.

Instead of a traditional ad, SheaMoisture turned the campaign into a story-driven moment, blending humor, culture, and beauty education while spotlighting the products behind the look.

Another reminder that today’s most effective marketing doesn’t just sell products, it creates moments people want to watch and share.
