Excuse the glare, but this is my dream wall!!!! The mess from our move is destroying me in every other room, but this is giving me life. HOWEVER: I hate the space to either side of the shelves. Ideas? Not sure I can fully fit in more shelving....

Have a Glenwood , cook and heat with it for many years. Just wondering if anyone else has one. Want to know how they burn the wood. Do you run it all around the oven when using for heat or up the chimney control the burn on the flue pipe getting a good hot fire. I am cleaning my creosote out all the time going around the oven up the flue pipe. Makes no difference what wood I burn and always seasoned.

I don’t have a really old house, as it’s from 1970 , but this wonderful find from the charity shop today , has made feel like I’m in a different calmer era . It also works .
I think this , on my days off , will be good in my pursuit of happiness .

Anyway I’m looking forward to a cuppa tea in the morning from this vintage Goblin teasmade .
Marks and Spencer’s Gold teabags if wondering .
Edit I am sitting in bed having a lovely hot cuppa
It turned on about 10 mins before, and just gradually sounds like a kettle boiling but quieter, considering it was right next to me .
