✨ Reminder to capture your moments too!

I need to get out of calling myself a content creator because I’m waaaay more than that. I do way more than just create content. I build campaigns and strategies that creatively promote brands and businesses through multiple forms (Social, PR, Advertising, & Marketing).

My skillset isn’t reversed to just my iPhone. I’m now adding long form video content, drone content, and photography to the résumé.

I’m not only capturing selling points for their target audience, I capturing moments and memories. Then taking those marketing materials and selling your business to your target audience. This isn’t even everything that I can do.

It’s easier to call myself a Creative really.

A little reset was exactly what I needed. ✨

I spent the Fourth of July weekend in Florida slowing down, shopping for perfumes and home décor, and simply enjoying being off the clock for a bit. Since getting back, I’ve been searching for supportive shoes for my ankle and easing back into creative mode.

I’ve got plenty of content from work to edit, and I can’t wait to share it with you soon. 💕

Lately I’ve realized that destination marketing has stretched me creatively in ways I never expected.

This work has made me a stronger storyteller and creative. It’s inspired me to pick my camera back up, spend more time behind the lens, learn new tools like the Osmo Pocket 3, sharpen my drone skills, and push myself to become a better editor in Adobe. I have so much more respect for the creatives who bring spaces and places to life. This is painstaking work that sometimes goes unappreciated.

Completed my First Year (Freshmore Year) of Marketing College

Marketing College is a nationally recognized professional development program designed specifically for destination marketing professionals. Through hands-on training, industry insights, and collaboration with tourism leaders from across the Southeast, participants gain the tools and strategies needed to better promote their destinations and drive visitor engagement.

Made great connections and contributions with tourism and hospitality professionals from the southern most of the U.S. to as from north as West Virginia and Maryland.

Grateful for the friendships I’ve made. I hope my work and expertise inspires others. Grateful my network sent me to become a positive asset to tourism leadership. This was an experience I couldn’t have gotten anywhere else.
