This morning, I had the chance to do something different—but deeply meaningful.

Alongside my Realty ONE Group Edge family and Home Repairs Ministries, we helped restore a home for a senior in our community who’s been through more than anyone should. Life threw her some hard challenges, and her house was left in rough shape. Now, volunteers are coming together to help bring it back to life.

My role? Removing old wallpaper so that room could one day feel like home again.

I’ve always felt called to help people move from places that no longer fit them into ones that do. That’s true in real estate—and it was true here, too.

Grateful to be a part of this work.

The last day of the month, and I couldn’t be happier to celebrate two amazing closings that mark fresh beginnings for my clients.

The Closing That Almost Didn’t Happen

It’s Valentine’s Day morning. My phone rings. “What time is closing?” the attorney asks.

Problem. We don’t have a clear to close.

My buyer and I have been through it. We found the perfect townhome. Submitted the offer. Everything looked good—until the underwriter found out the HOA was under litigation. Boom. Deal on hold.

I filed an 8-day unilateral. Tension builds. The lender and HOA aren’t seeing eye to eye. My buyer is stressing. Days pass. No movement.

Then, out of nowhere—the pressure spikes.

Close today, or the buyer loses her locked-in interest rate.

I make the calls. I push. I follow up. Hours are slipping away.

Then—just in time—CLEAR TO CLOSE.

We sprint to the closing table. Documents signed. Keys handed over.
