What changes when young people know they're not alone and feel safe asking for help?
Sources of Strength is an evidence-based youth su***de prevention and mental health program built on that idea. Together with the CDC, we captured this school-based program in action in Denver to help promote prevention strategies that work.
The core idea: spend more time talking about strengths, not crises. That means helping young people recognize supportive peers and trusted adults already around them and know that help exists and is worth reaching for.
Public health outreach means meeting people where they are, making help feel real and reachable, and moving them toward it. That's the standard we bring to every project.
Getting the story right -- the kind that moves people toward connection and help-seeking, not just awareness -- matters to us and our work.
Watch the video, then let's talk.
