Too many entrepreneurs start by asking, “What business should I start?”
Jay Sapovits suggests starting somewhere else: What problem can I solve?
🔹 Do other people have the same problem?
🔹 Are there enough of them?
🔹 Can you create a solution?
🔹 And most importantly, will a stranger actually pay for it?
Because a problem without a market isn't a business. And a solution nobody will pay for isn't a business either.
The real opportunity is finding a problem that matters, building a solution, and proving there's a market for it.

A business becomes more valuable when it can operate beyond its founder.
Viktor Popovic shared how difficult delegation was for him early in his entrepreneurial journey. Like many founders, he felt he could do things faster and better himself.
But as the business changed, so did his role.
He had to recognize where the company needed him most, give others more ownership, and build a structure that didn't require him to be involved in everything.
That's an important part of building an exit-ready business.
You're not just building something that works today. You're building something with the people, systems, and structure to continue creating value without everything depending on you.

People don't just buy products. They buy trust.
Joshua Altman explains why authenticity has become so important in content creation.
With AI making it easier to produce more content than ever, people are also becoming better at recognizing when something doesn't feel real.
That's why simply creating more content isn't enough.
Your content needs to sound like you, reflect what you actually believe, and give people a reason to trust you.
In a world full of content, authenticity is what makes you stand out.

“I do not believe you meant to put pickles on the ice cream.”
Melissa Mosher uses this funny analogy to describe what happens when a project starts drifting away from the original vision.
A good Chief of Staff doesn't simply point out what's wrong. They identify the roadblock, challenge the thinking without killing the motivation, and help find another path forward.
The goal isn't to protect a plan at all costs.
It's to recognize when things have gone off track and recalibrate before the pickles become part of the recipe.

SEO is changing rapidly as people increasingly use AI alongside traditional search engines.
Brandon Leibowitz explains that there are hundreds of factors that influence Google rankings, while AI search is even harder to predict because the systems continue to evolve.
But underneath all those changes, the fundamentals still matter: demonstrate expertise, build authority, earn trust, and create a good experience for the people visiting your site.
One of the simplest ways to improve is to study what your competitors are already doing, look at their content, keywords, pages, and backlinks to understand what's working.
The goal isn't to copy them blindly. It's to learn from what's working, improve upon it, and avoid tactics that sacrifice credibility or user experience.
Search may be changing, but building something trustworthy remains a strong strategy.

What if you spent $65,000 publishing a book—and almost nobody knew it existed?
That's exactly what happened to HJ Chammas.
When HJ started his journey as an author in 2017, he had a big dream. He wanted his book to make an impact and envisioned himself becoming a major authority in the personal finance and business space.
He eventually invested $65,000 into getting the book published.
But the book failed.
Not necessarily because the content was bad.
The biggest problem was discoverability.
Nobody knew the book existed.
HJ also realized something deeper: he had been measuring success by the wrong definition.
For experts and entrepreneurs, writing a book shouldn't be about simply having your name on a cover.
A book can be a powerful business asset but only when it's connected to a bigger strategy for building authority, reaching people, creating opportunities, and growing your business.
Being published is not the same as being discovered.

What happens when you walk into a room without knowing where your energy needs to go?
Aaron Smalls says the room can end up running you.
His approach isn't about becoming a better performer. It's about becoming a better leader—being fully present, knowing your intention, and making sure your energy is aligned with where you're trying to go.
Presence with intention creates energy. Energy with alignment creates leadership.
That idea applies whether you're leading a company, selling, speaking, or simply trying to connect with people.

Burnout isn't always caused by working too many hours.
Liz Landry makes an interesting distinction: it can come from carrying too much.
When you're responsible for every decision, every outcome, every problem, and all the context around them, the mental load can become exhausting—even if you enjoy parts of the work.
The answer isn't always to work less. Sometimes it's to stop carrying things that don't need to stay with you.
That's part of the shift from operator to owner.

“Think small, not big.”
Dr. Wayne D. Wilson's advice may sound counterintuitive, especially when we're constantly told to think bigger and push harder.
But winning isn't usually one huge breakthrough. It's small victories stacked on top of each other.
A big vision is useful. But if the pace isn't sustainable, eventually something breaks.
Sometimes the smartest way forward is simply to focus on the next step—and make it one you can keep taking.

What keeps you moving when business gets hard?
Justin Goodbread shared a perspective that comes back to purpose. When the day goes sideways and motivation disappears, get clear again on why you're in business, who you're serving, and what you know you can deliver.
