Mel Gibson's long-awaited sequel to "The Passion of the Christ" will be a two-movie cinematic event dubbed "The Resurrection of the Christ Parts One and Two," headed for screens in 2027, Newsmax has confirmed exclusively.

To Our Beloved and Concerned Friends,

I wanted to take a moment to update you on the health setback we shared with you yesterday regarding my father, Claude.

While moving from the kitchen, where he enjoyed Mama’s scrambled eggs, to her home office just a few yards away, Dad experienced an episode that we felt warranted a visit to the doctors’. The medical team decided to keep him at the hospital for a few days, for everyone’s peace of mind and his best interest. At nearly 88 years of age and still being very active, this has been particularly challenging for him. Having experienced my own health problems, I thought I understood the impact, but it feels different when it’s someone of his age and when it is your Father.

Yesterday, I decided to stay put until we had more information about Dad’s condition. I’m relieved to share that he is stable and doing fairly well now. Once the doctors feel it’s safe for him to return home, we will continue our journey.

Thank you for all your prayers and support. We look forward to seeing you again soon!

The 'We've Always Had A Song' tribute concert for The Nelons took place today at Macland Baptist Church in Powder Springs. People in the pictures include (in order starting at the third photo) 3 Heath Brothers, Rhonda Nelon along with Autumn Nelon Streetman and Todd Nelon, Autumn herself, Stan Whitmire, and a 'reunion' of former Nelons members. It was a touching 2-1/2 hour event that will also take place in other cities over the next year. A small video segment will air next week.
