Renovating a small studio and completely torn between Option A and B (or other ideas). Trying to find the right mix between my personal style & what might appeal to future buyers or renters.
Option A: Keep the existing chestnut brown laminate in the main space, and add concrete-look loose-lay planks in the kitchen to maintain a visual separation. It’s less work, less cost, and faster to finish.
Option B: Remove all the current flooring and install oak LVP throughout. I love the warmer, cohesive look, but it eliminates the distinct separation between the kitchen and living area.

One of my most shared photos over social media - our old snug. This was actually an ‘inbetween’ stage. I’d painted over the dark blue wall with the intention of painting a mural. Never got round to it and ended up wallpapering with a wall mural instead.

My 1952 Wedgewood stove. My husband re-wired it and put a new gas regulator on it. It works like a charm and I love it!

I had planned on getting subway tile but now thinking about this picket porcelain tile played diagonal. The grout I chose is pearl gray. Thoughts please TIA

My son and I moved last month, starting over with very little furniture. I found this advertised for free on Facebook one night, got up before work one morning and drove across town to pick it up from the curb. Strapped all ten million pounds of it onto the roof of my little four-door car. I think it's beautiful. Hard to believe was free and the timing was perfect.

We recently bought a 1950s home and I’m trying my best to work with this original tile. I just put up this wallpaper.

Is there a way to cover/paint the tile floor on a budget? I’m wondering if that will make it look better?
