What a nice way to end the year!. It was good to reunite with my elder sister, her husband, and my nephews during our Christmas holiday visit to London, UK. Recently, I attended Google I/O 2024 in Amphitheater, Shoreline,California, where several new trends were explored, including Google Cloud and artificial intelligence. The event was a hub of innovation and cutting-edge technology, showcasing the latest advancements in AI and its applications in various fields.

Imagine being surrounded by a wealth of new technologies and ideas, where the future seems closer than ever. At Google I/O 2024, it was fascinating to witness how AI is revolutionizing the way we interact with machines. It's like having a super smart robot friend that can think and learn like a human, but is made out of metal and wires instead of flesh and bones.

AI at its core is about teaching machines or software to perform tasks that typically require human intelligence, such as recognizing faces in photos, understanding and responding to human speech, driving cars autonomously, or even playing complex games like chess or Go. These machines learn from vast amounts of data and experiences, continuously improving their abilities over time.
