Sad news today as we've learned that D'Wayne Wiggins of Tony! Toni! Tone! has passed away after battling bladder cancer. He was 64.

Wiggins was a vocalist and bass guitarist of the beloved R&B group, which included his brother Raphael Saadiq and their cousin Christian Riley. The group became mainstays of the New Jack Swing movement, blending R&B, jazz, and traces of gospel melodies.

May he RIP...🕊

Is still a thing?
Happened upon this pic of some of my linesisters and Sorors who came through to support the 1st Anniversary of & it made me smile. Our National Convention was happening simultaneously, so was on 🔥. It was the first time I'd ever thrown an event of this magnitude, and I was so nervous! Will never forget that night and the people who helped make it happen. I wore this album out in 2015 and I'm STILL just a girl who loves and music...🎶🎤🎧🎹
