What we know from reliable reporting:
1. Kanté is reportedly married to Jude Littler, a 51 year old British businesswoman and ex wife of Djibril Cissé. They keep their private life quiet and there are no verified reports of divorce.
2. Kanté has no children of his own publicly confirmed, and Jude Littler has 3 children from her previous marriage. The “twin children” detail posted on social media doesn’t match any known facts.
3. The asset/timing claim doesn’t check out: There’s no court record or credible news outlet reporting a divorce filed 6 days before a World Cup, or any French ruling about Kanté owing/being owed assets. Kanté is also currently playing for Fenerbahçe in 2026, not in a World Cup cycle right now.
4. Kanté’s marriage status has been a target of fake news before. Similar hoax posts claimed he got married in Mali in 2025, which fact checkers debunked.
