National County Sports Meet Unveils Redesigned Logo 🇱🇷

The National County Sports Meet has unveiled its redesigned logo under the theme “New Era. New Identity.”

ARTWAY GROUP has been announced as the winner of the National County Sports Meet Logo Design Challenge.

The winning design will now become part of the visual identity of Liberia’s biggest sporting tradition, appearing on jerseys, banners, digital platforms, and other County Meet materials across the country.

The Liberia Drugs Enforcement Agency (LDEA) celebrates as they destroyed illegal drugs with an estimated street value of US$336.9 million.

Some people joked that Liberia “burned US$336.9 million,” but that’s not what happened. The US$336.9 million is simply the estimated black-market value of the drugs if traffickers had sold them. That money could never legally benefit Liberia because the drugs were illegal.

By destroying the drugs, the LDEA kept dangerous narcotics off the streets, protected communities, and showed that Liberia is serious about fighting drug trafficking.

The operation also sends a positive message internationally. It demonstrates that Liberia is taking action against organized crime, while reminding the world that traffickers still see the country as a transit route. Continued strong enforcement will be key to protecting Liberia’s reputation.

Liberian authorities have arrested two foreign nationals reportedly a Colombian and a Spanish citizen following a raid on a warehouse in Duazon that uncovered a massive quantity of suspected co***ne.

The operation was carried out by Joint Security, led by the Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency (LDEA) with support from other security agencies. Officials say the suspected drugs are still being tested, counted, and documented, so the exact weight and street value have not yet been confirmed.

Authorities have not released the identities of the suspects, and the investigation remains ongoing. More details are expected as forensic testing and inventory are completed.
