We’re looking for indie artists, composers, and producers to help build the sound of our short film Witch, Please!

We need original music only (no samples)
Each submission should be :30 – 1:00

✨️Sequence 1
Dreamy, ethereal, a little uncanny. African-inspired textures, soft percussion, something that feels like it’s moving through the subconscious.

Sounds like: “I Got 5 On It” (Jordan Peele / Us version) — for tension, atmosphere, and dreamlike unease (not melody or structure)

✨️Sequence 2 (part A & part B)

A. grounded, social, vibey, confident

Sounds like: "Slide” – Doechii

B. more emotional + elevated… like the first, but deeper and transformed

✨️Sequence 3
Magical hip-hop energy. Playful, feminine, confident. Feels like momentum + discovery.

Sounds like: “Saturn" - SZA

✨️Sequence 4
Fun, bold, high-energy. Contemporary rap feel. Unapologetic and celebratory.

Sounds like: Contemporary rap artists such as Latto, GloRilla, Megan Thee Stallion

✨️End Credits
Upbeat, witchy, a little hypnotic. Smooth, cool, and leaves us feeling good.

Sounds like: “Witchy”- Kaytranada & Childish Gambino

We’re casting Ohnie for our short film Witch, Please!
Ohnie is the “Mother Hen” of the group — eccentric, intuitive, and full of wisdom. She owns a metaphysical shop and always sees the bigger picture before anyone else.

If you embody that bold, discerning energy (or know someone who does), we’d love to hear from you!

Just Us Media is gearing up for our indie short film Witch, Please!—a whimsical, witchy fantasy centering Black women in joyful, non-traumatic storytelling—and we’re looking for talented crew to help bring the magic to life!

This is a non-union, self-funded indie production, and all crew must be Atlanta-based or willing to work as a local.

We’re currently hiring for the following paid positions:

🔹 Hair/Makeup Artist
🔹 Sound Mixer
🔹 Production Designer / Props
🔹 Script Supervisor
🔹 Production Assistant
