I don’t say this to discourage anyone, because if I can do it, anyone can, but this game ain’t for the weak willed, that’s for sure. I may have built an artist owned record label from the ground up, but I in no way could have done it completely on my own. It’s taken a team, building trust and relationships, among other factors, the entire way up. I take pride in the amount of work I put in, but I can’t sit here and ignore the amount of people, fans and bands who have believed in this label and our journey from the beginning. Love what you do, and don’t ever give up - but don’t underestimate the sacrifices it takes to accomplish something like this, nor the team you need to build along the way. I know I’m not the only artist-entrepreneur who feels this way!

INDEPENDENT ARTISTS FOR THE WIN. TODAY MARKS AN EXTREMELY SPECIAL DAY IN YOSEMITE IN BLACK AND TERMINUS HATE CITY HISTORY. The first film featuring music from any artist on this label is out in theaters today. Go watch Idiots The Film & catch Yosemite In Black track “Cerberus” hyping up the action. Words can’t express how proud I am of the YIB homies and grateful to the Idiots team for thinking of them when producing this film. This is why supporting independent arts on every level is so crucial!
