Meet a few top Liberian entertainers who are significantly contributing to the growth and global recognition of the Liberian music industry.

Lassana Ace Harris is an Atlanta based producer and A&R executive who has worked with top international artistes. He has earned major recognition, including two wins at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards in 2024 for his work with Lecrae on Church Clothes 4 and the song “Your Power.” He consistently represents Liberia on global platforms.

Mon Rovia is a US based Liberian artiste whose story gained global attention after a powerful interview. Since then, he has performed on major international stages and toured widely, further putting Liberia on the global music map.

Steve Chokpelle, known as MVsoo, is a singer and songwriter who has worked with artists like Chris Brown, DJ Khaled, Sean Kingston, Rick Ross, and Davido. He also co wrote on Chris Brown’s Grammy recognized project “Sensational,” strengthening his global impact.

Ruben Vincent, signed to Roc Nation under Jay-Z, continues to rise as one of Liberia’s most promising hip hop talents on the international stage.

These artists are not only succeeding globally but also proudly representing Liberia. However, it remains unfortunate that much of their achievements are still underreported by local media back home, despite their growing global influence.

TrapCo is an aggressive style of rap using raw terms ”Koloqua”, street terms, with association of drûg dealing.

1. Infamous Tk - is the originator of TrapCo Music and it started in the US. He's regarded as the Father of TrapCo.

2. Revoluxon Rocky - popularized the sound across the 15 counties of Liberia. He influenced many young Liberian rappers to do TrapCo Music.

3. Bucky Raw - helps in globalizing TrapCo after he made history with his ”Country Soda Album CS2”. That was when TrapCo music competed with pop, hip-hop, and country music on iTunes.

TrapCo is an accepted genre in the Industry today!
