Impressions from Silver Dollar city .. When I see these pics with one of Southern Gospels top groups on stage. It tells me, The 80s,90s, 00, 2010 era is done. The crowds don’t attend like they once did. If you would have took this pic 5 years ago. There would not be an empty seat in the house .

I’m amazed at how country music continues to walk into a genre of Southern Gospel Music and honestly steal its best songs. Remake, remix and reintroduce those songs. And Southern Gospel artist just sit back and say. Well there not singing for the Lord. It’s all about product sales. Well guess what, Cody Johnson, Red Clay Strays , Anne Wilson are ministering to more people in one day. Than most Southern Gospel artists do in a month. Why wouldn’t a group try to position themselves as a back ground group for some of these mainstream performers. Similiar to what the Stamps or Imperials did with Elvis. Instead the continue down the same path. Sing for a love offering at a local church on Thursday Friday sat and Sunday .
If its ministry, go where the sinners are sing . Just a little food for thought. Below is a song many of us sing in church and Charles Johnson made famous . Now Cody Johnson is sending out to Radio. Who do you think people wanna hear sing it.

To Please Say A Prayer For family of Gospel Legend Squire Parsons. Last Night He Was Rushed To The Hospital with what we understand was heart issues. 101.1 The Pulse has confirmed that he Passed away this evening from multiple sources.

Throughout his career, Squire received numerous accolades, including multiple Singing News Fan Awards for his singing and songwriting, and an honorary doctorate from his alma mater. He ministered through music across the nation, touching countless lives with his heartfelt lyrics and faith-filled performances.
Squire is survived by his wife, Linda, and their four children.
His legacy endures in the songs he wrote, the souls he inspired, and the enduring hope of “Beulah Land.”

Congrats to Ace Duane Allen for being inducted to Hall of Fame. Long overdue.
