FOR YEARS, MY PARENTS SAID THEY HAD NO MONEY FOR MY BIRTHDAY GIFTS BUT ALWAYS BOUGHT FOR MY SISTER – IF ONLY I KNEW WHY.
It was my 17th birthday yesterday, and I got a message from my mother saying they couldn't afford to get me a birthday present (for the third year in a row, mind you).
I wasn't even surprised this year. I don't need gifts, just mom and dad's attention. Here's the point — today is my younger sister's birthday, and she got $50. She gets it every year.
I'm just frustrated that they play favorites, and it was the straw that broke the camel's back for me. Now it's my turn.
I prepared a delicious chocolate cake to bring to my parents and grandparents (as I always do the day after my birthday). But when I arrived at my family's house and was ready to carry out my revenge plan, my heart DROPPED after seeing what they had prepared for me. ⬇️

I DELIVERED A LONG-LOST PACKAGE TO ITS OWNER – WHAT WAS INSIDE LEFT ME IN TEARS
I've been a mail carrier for years, but this was the first time something really got to me. When I picked up that box, it felt different, like it had been waiting forever for its owner. My heart skipped when I read the label: "For my beloved Loreen. I will love you forever."
I just stood there for a moment, staring at the package, my mind racing. The note felt so personal. It was as if it was sent with love and care. The idea that it never made it to the person it was meant for broke my heart. That package had waited long enough — it deserved to be delivered.
As I drove, I couldn't stop thinking about it. Who was Loreen? Had she been waiting for this? Wondering? But there was no turning back now... I was already at her door. My heart pounded as I knocked, and the door slowly creaked open.
Loreen was an older woman, her expression a mix of curiosity and surprise. As she accepted the package, her hands shook slightly. She traced the faded label with her fingers as if she knew it held something more than just an old package.
She carefully lowered herself onto the porch, her emotions clearly getting the better of her. With tears in her eyes, she gently peeled away the tape and began to open the box.👇

JOKE OF THE DAY: After thirty years of marriage, a husband and wife go to counseling.
When the therapist asks what the problem is, the wife launches into a long rant, listing every issue they’ve ever had over the years.
She goes on and on: neglect, lack of intimacy, emptiness, loneliness, feeling unloved and unlovable—an entire laundry list of unmet needs she’s endured.
Finally, after letting her vent for a while, the therapist stands up, walks over to her, asks her to stand, and gives her a long, passionate kiss—all while the husband watches with a raised eyebrow.
The woman falls silent, sitting down in a daze.
The therapist turns to the husband and says, “Your wife needs this at least three times a week. Can you manage that?”
