So, Arkham Horror is kind of interesting. If I remember correctly, you basically start off as detectives and strange things go on in your office and some weird portals to different worlds open up and monsters start swarming in. I’ve always kind of compared it to if D&D (Dungeons and Dragons) was a card game because it has a similar campaign style. You go through some kind of campaign. The actions you take influence what goes on. You control a character and a party, usually two. And you can go through the story exploring these kind of weird Lovecraftian Esque events that are going on while trying to make it out with both your life and your sanity.

In Dominion you have all these cards in the game and you pick ten before the game starts either random or using premade sets.Then you start taking your turns. During your turn the whole point is that you use your cards in order to buy more cards and those cards can be some that you play with during the game or they can be victory cards which contribute to you winning the game.
The first time I played was when I was in the seventh grade. My seventh grade science teacher recommended the game after seeing me play Magic with some of my friends so I checked it out online and played it for a bit.
I enjoy it because you get all the fun of finding cards but it’s not like you have to set this up before the game, it’s about the adapting during the game.
