Unidentified Remains Found
---------------------------------
In mid-May, the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a deceased individual found in the Chattahoochee River near 375 Riverside Parkway in

While the condition of the remains has made identification difficult, investigators were able to note that he is a white male with several distinct tattoos that may help someone recognize him.

These include:
The initials “SL” on his upper left arm
A phrase in Sanskrit on his outer left arm
A full-back tattoo, though the image is currently unclear
Several additional tattoos on his torso and upper body

He is also missing three of his upper front teeth. Based on his clothing and other factors, investigators believe he may have recently experienced homelessness and may have been living in or passing through the Douglas, Cobb, or Fulton County areas.

Despite our efforts, we have not been able to determine who he is. We are asking for the public’s help to bring closure to this case and hopefully be able to notify his family.

If you recognize this description or know someone who may match it, please contact Investigator Nicole Womack at 678-486-1307 or [email protected]. Your assistance could make a meaningful difference.

A 31-year old man – with a recent public history of violent acts – has been charged with aggravated assault – after allegedly stabbing a 33-year old woman – in the head – with a large kitchen knife…

According to the report filed by CPD Sgt. Richard Cheatwood – around 6:00 Saturday morning – police responded to the Hardees on South Park Street – in response to a stabbing. The suspect had left the scene.

Officers rendered aid to the victim until West Georgia Ambulance arrived.

It was determined that the suspect was an employee of the restaurant – and the victim was a manager.

The suspect was soon located and detained. Officers also located the knife allegedly used. It appeared to have been thrown off the bypass bridge.

The victim was transported to an Atlanta-area hospital for treatment. She was last reported as alert and communicating.
The suspect was identified as Ramario Monuma. Several court documents and the filed police report – list him as homeless.

Court documents show that in 2022 – Monuma threw a rock at a moving vehicle, driven by an off-duty police officer - striking the windshield. He was given first offender status. He received probation and agreed to pay a sum towards the damage.

Also, in 2022 – Monuma was in state court – after he punched a person in the face. He was sentenced to a short period of confinement followed by probation.

In May of 2023 – Monuma was accused of throwing a large piece of broken concrete into the driver’s side of a sedan during an angered state. He received the order of probation.

He was also charged with possession of ma*****na with intent-to-distribute in 2023. A mental evaluation was ordered but detailed results are unavailable. Monuma again received probation.
