A year ago today, I was sitting on the set of the Tamron Hall Show having one of those moments I once could only imagine.

And when I look at these pictures now, I don’t just see an amazing opportunity.

I see proof that life can be hard and still be beautiful.

I have endured things that changed me, stretched me, hurt me and forced me to find strength I didn’t know I had. But I have also experienced joy, purpose, answered prayers, incredible opportunities and moments that remind me just how big God’s plans can be.

That’s the thing about life: adversity doesn’t always wait until the celebration is over. Sometimes grief and gratitude live in the same house. Sometimes you are carrying something incredibly heavy while God is simultaneously showing you something incredibly beautiful.

And you deserve to experience the beautiful parts, too.

So keep going. Keep showing up. Keep saying yes to yourself. Keep making room for joy even when life hasn’t been gentle with you.

Because one day you’ll look back at a picture and realize…

I was going through so much, and somehow, I was still living. Still dreaming. Still becoming.

And baby, that matters. ❤️
