GreatHER Is She who changes her mind and changes her life to become the woman God called her to be.

I will never serve my story from a silver platter or feed it to you with a silver spoon because that is not my truth. I have lived through things that others didn’t survive. Like many black women, I was forced to be resilient. My strength came at a cost. I’ve fought for healing, for peace, joy and love. My light is brilliant and my soul is beautiful because I decided to not be bitter. I chose grit, grace and God.

But let me be clear: I have never been hopeless. Even in my darkest seasons, I held on to the belief that my life had purpose, that my pain had meaning, and that God did not bring me this far to leave me. Every chapter that tried to break me became the brick I stood on to build the woman you see today.

When I say GreatHER IS SHE, I’m saying that something lives in me— and you sis, that is more BADASS than anyone or anything that attempts to destroy you. So yes, we are GreatHER — not because life was easy, but because WE have the power to dismiss adversity and refused to let the hard parts define us. Chose healing. Chose purpose. Chose YOU.

My prayer is that every woman reading this remembers: your past does not disqualify you. It prepares you.

Back in September, when I was on , announced my second book, GreatHER Is She, and invited me back to the show. Even though I missed the Thanksgiving Day release date, I know that God’s timing is perfect. And I look forward to being back on to share this book with the world.

With my sophomore project, GreatHer Is She, I’m going deeper—I’m offering a spiritual and emotional roadmap to help women understand themselves, honor themselves, heal themselves, and rise stronger than they’ve ever been. I’ve shared my lived experiences, my mistakes, my witty auntie advice, my humor, and hard-earned wisdom, all with one goal in mind: to encourage women to choose themselves, FIRST! ✨

Let me tell y’all something: this weight-loss journey has been real. I started at 376 pounds back in 2017 when I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, and today… I’m sitting at 175 pounds and yes i still have but F*ck her. That’s 200 pounds gone, and trust me—none of it fell off by accident, I worked my ass off! Literally.

These past two years? Whew. Depression tried it. Perimenopause had jokes. Cancer and Scleritis played in my face. My body was acting like it didn’t love me. But I refused to die or let the “old age spread” sneak up on me.

Thanks to and I’ve been able to take control of my health, my hormones, and my mindset. I’m learning to Reimagine The Change instead of fearing it. And baby, the way I feel now? Clearer. Stronger. More aligned. More me.

Now let me start getting serious about weight training. 😒😒😒 ✨

Something to definitely be thankful for! Our family’s matriarch! My Nannie, looked so beautiful yesterday. She is 96 years old. She is still in good health. Still of sound mind. She is still extremely independent. She is still a diva who loves fashion, must have a nice wig and whose nails are always manicured. She holds a cane when she walk because the doctor gave it to her but she doesn’t even use it. This is God’s doing; blessings, favor, love, and light. THIS IS LEGACY!

Oh and I know Nannie picked out her entire outfit because my girl put them clothes on! She taught me so much about style and grace.

Shout out to my cousin/ sister, Chantell Williams for this beautiful picture and for being there with and for Nannie in our absence.

The real tea is Ray J is not the only one. He is just a representative for men too many Black women have gone to war for. Men like Future, Paul Pearce, Off-Set and so many more.

“I don’t f**k withher.”
“She not my type of girl.”

Baby, those are phrases you will rarely hear come out of my mouth about another woman — especially another Black woman. That’s just not my ministry. I’m a girl’s girl to my core.

I thrive in the company of dope Black women. I live for creating spaces where we can gather, laugh loud, love on each other, and show up exactly as we are — no apologies, no shrinking, no dimming.

My tribe? Whew. Always a vibe, always causing an energy shift, always exactly what my spirit ordered.

Happy Woman Crush Wednesday to the women who keep my cup full . I love you deep. 💛✨
