I really feel this one.
The Devil's in the Details. Post-production studio specializing in visual effects, compositing, motion graphics, editorial and finishing. Need a pesky human removed from the foreground of your shot?
He's outta there. Need some lasers? Done. Didn't want that lens flare? Gone. You needed blue sky and white puffy clouds but had to shoot in December? You got it. Don't have enough people to fill your crowded movie theater? Now you do. We promise magic and have been known to provide a few miracles in the process.
I really feel this one.

Gotta love a good shortcut!
I'm a big fan of keyboard shortcuts. Once they've been memorized and committed to your muscle memory, keyboard shortcuts can speed up your work considerably. In a recent series of posts on SetUpABlogToday, a fellow named Jamie shared a handy infographic detailing all of the most helpful keyboard sho...

I'm glad this is getting the attention it deserves. Motion Smoothing is an abomination.
I’m taking a quick break from filming to tell you the best way to watch Mission: Impossible Fallout (or any movie you love) at home.

It's important to manage client expectations...take a lesson from Iñigo Montoya, he knows.
I just wrapped a project with a lot of moving parts and long hours. Keeping my project organized with color coding and specific tracks devoted to specific types of clips really saved my bacon. While my project didn't warrant 23 tracks of audio & video, it did have a lot of versions of graphics and vfx, and being able to quickly see which graphics had been updated at the end of a 16 hour day helped me avoid sending out incomplete versions at 2 a.m. even if my brain was starting to melt from too much coffee.
So find your system and stick to it! And if you don't have a system, here's a link to one the pros use.
When the number of your project's video and audio tracks reaches the several dozens, staying organized is an absolute necessity.
Spent last week and the weekend editing and creating graphics. Today is VFX while we wait for feedback and delivery of a drive of footage. Summer vacation is officially over!

How they made the classic Old Spice "I'm on a horse" commercial
I thought that the classic Old Spice "I'm on a horse" commercial was entirely made with green screens and video compositing. I was so wrong. This video shows that, for the most part, it was made with clever use of movable backdrops and camera work on a beach, in one single take.
We got to hang out with some of our favorite people today! Thanks Paxton & Tara for letting us take over Connor's room! And for letting us hang out with you guys all afternoon! I managed not to pinch Connor's super awesome rosy cheeks, but it took all I had! He is such a cutie! And Mr. Cat was a big hit too!
This is one of the projects I've been working on recently.
