The Conjuring 4: The Last Rites (2025) picks up where Ed and Lorraine Warren (Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga) take on one of their most terrifying cases yet. The trailer opens with a serene country setting that quickly turns sinister when a young priest is seen performing a mysterious exorcism in a dark church. His desperate screams are drowned out by haunting whispers and violent supernatural occurrences, leading to his unexplained death. The Warrens are called in to investigate and discover a link between the priest's death and a centuries-old cult known as The Order of the Crimson Rite. The cult's goal is to summon a malevolent demon capable of destroying divine sanctuaries.

Wednesday is an American supernatural horror comedy television series based on the character Wednesday Addams from The Addams Family. Created by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, it stars Jenna Ortega in the lead role, with Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, Isaac Ordonez, Gwendoline Christie, Riki Lindhome, Jamie McShane, Fred Armisen, and Christina Ricci in supporting roles. Four of the eight episodes are directed by Tim Burton, who also serves as executive producer. The story revolves around the title character, who attempts to solve the mystery of a monster at his school.
Burton was previously associated with two Addams Family-related projects: the 1991 film, which he rejected, and a canceled stop-motion animated film. In October 2020, it was reported that he was directing a television series, which was later ordered by Netflix. Filming took place in Romania between September 2021 and March 2022. Wednesday premiered on November 16, 2022, and on Netflix on November 23, to generally positive reviews, which praised Ortega's performance but noted some similarities to The CW dramas. Two weeks after its premiere, it became the third most-watched English-language series on Netflix.

In 1653 Salem, Massachusetts, Reverend Traske banishes 16-year-old Winifred Sanderson after she 'defied church authority' by refusing to marry John Pritchett. Rather than be away from her sisters, Mary and Sarah, Winnie takes them to a nearby forest.
There, they meet with Mother Witch, who gives Winifred a magic, human-skin-bound book, with a living eyeball embedded in the cover, for her birthday; she also explicitly warns the trio against ever casting the Magicae Maxima spell, which makes the user 'all-powerful'. Mother Witch also teaches the trio how to keep their youth, using children. The sisters get revenge on the Reverend by cursing his home, which is engulfed in flames. ✨✨🥰
