Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love couples and families who enjoy matching outfits. It’s cute! But for me, matching all the time just isn’t my thing. Once in a while? Sure. Every day? Not really my vibe.

My husband, on the other hand, would happily have us dressed like a coordinated team every single day. Unfortunately for him, he married someone who doesn’t share that level of enthusiasm.

So, since he couldn’t recruit me, he found his perfect partner in crime, our son 😂
Now, whenever he puts together an outfit for himself, he makes sure there’s an almost identical version for his little mini me. At this point, they’re matching about 70% of the time.
It doesn’t stop there. Anytime we’re all getting ready to go out, this man keeps one eye on me. The moment I pick an outfit, he suddenly starts searching for something in the exact same color or at least as close as possible. 😭

The funniest part? On this particular day, he was determined to make both of us look coordinated. His only mint green outfit was at the dry cleaners, so he had to settle for the closest color he could find. The dedication is honestly unmatched! 😂

Tell me I’m not alone, does anyone else have a spouse who is this committed to matching outfits?

One of the most painful things about living in Nigeria right now is watching the country move from one tragedy to another without ever truly confronting any of them.

I’m exhausted.

Seeing reports and images of kidnapped children every day is heartbreaking. I can’t open social media without feeling sick. Children should never have to live in fear just for going to school.

We cannot keep treating these tragedies as normal. We cannot keep moving on while families are still living through hell.

My heart breaks for every child still missing and every parent waiting for them to come
home. 💔

I don’t even like opening social media anymore because I dread what I’ll see next.

Why that country has not been declared a state of emergency is what I can’t comprehend.
The government is moving forward with normal activities like noth has happened but busy campaigning for the next election while we have a state of emergency.
ATP it’s only God that will save us in that country.
