I visited another magnificent national park in Montenegro and was once again amazed by the diversity of this country’s nature. On the coast, it’s warm, and I’m swimming in the sea, feeling like summer never left. It’s such a joy — as if summer decided to linger a little longer to embrace us before the winter chill.
But as I head north, I find myself in the heart of true golden autumn. Oh, how I’ve missed these colors! The fiery reds, rich oranges, and shimmering golds of nature seem to come alive, reminding me of the beauty of seasonal change. The forests, draped in gold, feel like a farewell gift, a way of saying thank you before the long winter rest. It’s a moment to treasure — a blessing wrapped in color.
I always respond to nature with gratitude. I stroll through the autumn woods, playfully kicking up piles of leaves, and without fail, I take one maple leaf home as a keepsake. This small ritual reminds me to cherish the simple joys of life.
I also spent time gliding across a lake in an old wooden boat. Silence surrounded me, with fiery mountains standing tall in the distance. It felt like a date with myself, something magical. As if nature itself whispered, “Pause, breathe, just be.”
What adventure awaits me next? Who knows. But I’m sure every new journey is yet another chance to say “thank you” to this incredible world.
