Haley here...I picked 25 of bullies and used their public profiles to costume myself to look like them and insert their hateful comments into the image. The first image that I created for The Bully Pulpit was this image “Short Bus.” This bully is a photographer who emailed me from his professional email to give me advice on how to look better as I he felt I was ruining photography by how ugly I look. @hmorriscafiero

Hey y’all. This is Haley Morris-Cafiero taking over this week. Today I’m going to be sharing some stories behind the bullies for The Bully Pulpit. Before I do, I’ll share how the project started. When my project Wait Watchers went viral, I received thousands of hateful messages from people criticizing how I look. As their waste of time to try to stop me was comical, I saved their messages and comments as I knew I wanted to respond. These are a couple images from Wait Watchers. @hmorriscafiero

We are excited to announce the arrival of Paul Shambroom's newest book, Past Time. In an era of politicized nostalgia, with a presidential campaign built upon in, Shambroom uses photographs of contemporary life in iconic American towns and popular imagery of the past to explore the notion of the "the good old days" and American iconography. Juxtaposing these images shows how exclusionary misrepresentations of a mythological past-perfect, white America align with the current reality of these American towns.

From the beginning #FallLinePress has been about more than the books we published and put out into the world It’s always been about people and our communities who are who our books are for. That’s why we’ve always had a reading room to share, workshops to be part of, residencies, talks, small exhibitions and gatherings of all sorts. This year we formalized our 3 Cent Farm based residency program with @3centstudio and this past weekend we just pulled off our first ever 3 day, 3 venue film, food & music festival @falllinejam at #3CentFarm in historic old, Sparta, Hancock County! I want to thank the hundreds of you who came, supported and held forth with us out in the heartlands this weekend past. To our partners and friends who supported but couldn’t make it please accept our thanks and our strong wishes that you’ll be with us this coming spring for the music driven spring jam.
