Overacting in auditions? You might be and not even know it.

Casting directors see it all the time — actors doing too much in the room or on tape. These are three of the biggest red flags:

- Too many facial expressions

- Emphasizing every single word

- Constant movement or fidgeting

The best performances feel grounded and honest. Stillness reads powerfully on camera. You don’t have to “show” the emotion — just live it.
