Happy Anniversary to Brownstone Living Magazine. Another year down. We made it through to another year!
Let's be clear IT AIN'T EASY... AT ALL.
I have learned alot this past year the biggest one just hit me about three months ago.
1. Heal your yesterday so you can move forward
2. Be clear in WHO you are not for anyone else but you
3. Remove yourself from rooms that you have long outgrown.
4. Accept that you are always asking and acknowledge when the change is not to hurt you but to grow you to what you asked for
5. The results of the external life that you are currently living is a result of what you believe about yourself and NO ONE ELSE. You are your own competition
6. Your future self is waiting on you, rooting you on and telling you that you deserve the life you imagined
7. Align yourself with people, places and experiences that are pointing in the direction you are desiring to go and then fight like hell through all of the the feelings of inadequacy to prove that is where you belong
8. Know your worth and stand on it ten toes down in your daily walk, not sometimes, ALL THE TIME even when you don't feel like it show up for YOU
9. The negative nay sayers who are encouraging you to stay where you are? Block em and focus
10. Don't ever stop learning. Don't be the smartest person in the room that will not serve you in the end. I intentionally remain connected to people I can learn from because it is important that you align yourself with those who have been where you are trying to go.
11. ENJOY THE RIDE, EMBRACE THE JOURNEY, RECOGNIZE WHAT YOU ARE LEARNING IS SOMETIMES NOT WHAT YOU THINK IT IS
LET ME EXPLAIN ...
Brownstone is a representation of me. Period. It took me 15 years to figure that out. Brick by brick, room by room, the windows and pieces of furniture within, the hard wood floors and woolen rugs I see in my mind are me dusting off the pieces of the life I chose.
Each step I take to see it real is really me living out in physical manifestation the lessons of worthiness, peace, love , joy, respect, honor and personal power I have been asking for.
We all do it. Each step I am taking to be better at this with Brownstone Living Magazine, Brownstone Worldwide and CityScape Radio / Magazine is a direct reflection of WHO I BELIEVE I AM.
No one can do this work for you Dear Heart. People can see it before you do but they cannot walk you to the water and make you drink until you yourself are ready.
I felt it in my soul this year as I learned to trust the class that I just passed. Yes...a class. You will repeat the class you are in with a different teacher until you pass it or PASS. But you must be willing to do the work and acknowledge "Why am I here again?" It's not about the money, the recognition or the perks it is about your soul elevation and the lessons you came to live out on this physical plane.
