I’m a homeschooling mom of three, currently balancing lesson plans, laundry , and the dream of building a homestead from the ground up.

My family recently bought raw land, and we’re working toward turning it into our future homestead while getting our current home ready to sell. It’s exciting, messy, exhausting, and absolutely worth it.

I’m raising some incredible neurodivergent kids, including children on the autism spectrum-
I believe in inclusiveness, compassion, kindness, and treating people with basic human respect—especially those who experience the world differently than we do.

The kids had a watermelon photoshoot this week, and the photographer sent us home with two whole watermelons.

Add in the half watermelon that had been sitting in our fridge for a couple days, and it seemed like the perfect excuse to spoil the chickens and ducklings on this hot Georgia afternoon. 🍉☀️

Safe to say they approved.

This is the horseshoe crab,and it is 450 MILLION years old!

Its blue blood is so unique,and it’s used to help make sure certain medical products are safe for humans!
