Happy 30th Pearl Anniversary to the love of my life Robert Lee Skinner. When we said “I do,” we had no idea what the journey ahead would hold. Through every curveball, every unexpected plot twist, and every mountain and valley—we’ve held on. To God. To each other. To the promise.
They call this the Pearl Anniversary, and I love that because pearls aren’t formed without pressure—they’re made beautiful through time, tension, and transformation. Just like us.
30 years of learning how to love like Christ, how to lead, serve, and how to weather life’s storms without losing each other. All of it has shaped us into something rare and precious.
Thank you for being my covering, my calm in the chaos, and the laughter in my tears. Thank you for praying with me, for dreaming with me, and for showing me that real love—God’s kind of love—only gets deeper with time.
