Power 94.7 Radio first started out in August of 2016 as a simple idea that later took root and blossomed into reality. The Founder, Rochelle "Dj Ro" Boyce wanted to offer the world something different than what it was used to. From a series of shows to giving back to the community, they saw fit to leave the world both impressed and entertained. Just BLAQ was born and raised in Dublin Ga. He has been pursuing his artistry since the age of 13. Not only is Just Blaq an Artist but he is also apart of the reality world as well as an actor. He has done shows such as "set it off at!" and " Movies such as "In This House."

has previously toured with Bloodraw as a part of his "Back in the trenches" tour in early 2023 and has been featured in several Atlanta magazines for his drive and success. Just Blaq is becoming a pioneer in the industry, and we are excited to see where life takes him next.

has confirmed that both the Awards and the BET Hip Hop Awards have been suspended indefinitely. In a new interview with Billboard, BET CEO Scott Mills explained the network’s decision, stating the awards are being “reimagined” for the current media climate.

“So for BET linear, we have suspended the Soul Train and Hip-Hop award shows,” Mills told Billboard, noting that the awards are not permanently canceled but may be shifted to a different platform in the future.

The announcement comes amid plummeting viewership for traditional TV broadcasts. Nielsen data shows that awards show ratings have dropped more than 30% since 2015, and BET has not been immune. Despite critical praise, the 2025 BET Awards saw a 50% decline in ratings from the previous year.
