After recent audio-chain breaches at stations in Texas and Virginia that injected fake EAS tones and offensive content on-air, the Federal Communications Commission is warning broadcasters to lock down their networks. That includes:

• Updating firmware and security patches
• Changing passwords
• Using VPNs and firewalls
• Monitoring EAS and network logs for suspicious activity

NOW is the time to double-check your station’s defenses! 🔒

The National Association of Broadcasters Congressional PSA Campaign has been a trusted resource since 1985, spotlighting important issues in off-election years.❤️‍🩹

This year’s 30-second radio and TV PSAs feature members of Congress sharing messages on Cancer Prevention, Support for Veterans, Mental Health, Addiction Awareness, Support for Small Businesses, and Blood Donations.

GAB encourages all member stations to air the PSAs from lawmakers whose districts overlap with your audience. 🎥 🎙

If you haven't already, download and run the Congressional PSAs to help amplify these vital messages. 🔗 https://psa.nab.org/cpsa.asp
