Stretching across the cliffs of La Lindosa, these ancient paintings show human life alongside creatures long gone: mastodons, giant sloths, and Ice Age horses.
Created roughly 12,500 years ago, this vast gallery has been called the Sistine Chapel of the Ancients — a masterpiece hidden in the jungle that captures how early humans saw their world at the end of the Ice Age.
It’s one of the greatest archaeological finds of our time — proof that even in the depths of the rainforest, humanity was already telling its story in color. 🖐️
