I just left an informative meeting with new APS superintendent. The woman is on a mission and changing things every minute. Not one minute is wasted even after hours, phone rang several times and not one question went unanswered. Dr. Carstarphen and the newly elected board will make a difference within Atlanta and its school system. Post your questions or concerns and I will try my best to answer them.

The Miranda warning was designed to prevent coercion and self-incrimination at the hands of law-enforcement officers (LEOs) when a suspect is arrested and brought in for questioning by informing a suspect of his 5th Amendments rights, specifically his right to silence and to legal representation. This "public safety exception", again, while a bit unnerving does make both legal sense as well as practical intelligence gather sense in that the information that Tsarnaev will be or is providing to the national security team (FBI, CIA, DIA, and NSA) will be inadmissible as evidence in any future trial, state and/or federal.

As such, one can assume that the investigators and likely prosecutor(s) are confident in the physical, circumstantial, and eyewitness evidence to convict him." Jonathan G. Banes

They are asking all A.K.A's to assemble and where white at 9:00 A.M. and the funeral will start promptly at 11:00 A.M. You will be missed Mrs.Scott

Police closed Roswell and West Wieuca roads just before noon on Wednesday while authorities investigate a suspicious package left inside a nearby bank. What is this world coming to. Wellsfargo on Roswell Rd closed due to suspicious package left there. Will update with more information soon.

Atlanta and the World lost a woman, mother, friend, educator, wife and leader on Monday 15, April 2013 when Mrs. Mary Shy Scott went to her eternal home. Mrs. Scott was not just a mother and wife but the leader of the worlds largest sorority Alpha Kappa Alpha inc. where she served from 1990-1994. Most known for her creative slogan during that term for addressing the issues of the 1990's, being a civil rights activist and leader Mrs. Scott was a highly influential woman. Mrs. Carolyn House Stewart said " Mrs.Scott was not only a woman but a visionary that lead Alpha Kappa Alpha to what it is today. She is survived by her husband of over 60years Mr. Alfred Scott Sr. and Children Alfredene Scott Benton, Aurthur Scott, and Alfred Scott.Jr. Funeral arrangements are currently underway and will be made avail to you once they are concrete.

Most of you know we lost the life of a Great Political leader over a week ago and today we lay her to rest Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher to London, England. Though she served as the first female elected political leader in England P.M Thatcher had mixed reviews while serving and changing the lives of those in England and abroad. Thatcher was in favor with President Reagan to have the Berlin wall removed and stop communism. P.M Thatcher died Monday 8,April 2013 from a stroke in her apartment in the Ritz Carlton Hotel London, England. P.M Thatcher is survived by her children Mark Thatcher and Carol Thatcher and grandchildren. Today we will say our final fair-well to the P.M Thatcher whom was affectionately called " Iron Lady".
