BREAKING: Trump forced to sits silently as the Wall Street Journal wins an award for exposing Trump-Epstein ties, the same coverage he's suing them over
At Friday's White House Correspondents' Dinner, Wolf Blitzer announced the Wall Street Journal as the winner of the Katherine Graham Award for Courage and Accountability: "The Journal's courageous reporting on President Trump's past relationship with financier Jeffrey Epstein triggered the release of the so-called Epstein files, thousands of documents that might otherwise have remained hidden from the public."
Trump laughed and shrugged as the announcement was made.
Blitzer then laid out, in detail, exactly what it cost the Journal's reporters to get that story published. Despite Trump's threat of a lawsuit, the paper ran a story about a provocative letter to Epstein bearing Trump's signature. Trump responded by filing a $20 billion lawsuit against the Journal, and in the process, reporter Khadeeja Safdar's home address was revealed, forcing her family to relocate. The Journal was booted off Air Force One. And through all of it, Blitzer noted, the reporters kept filing stories that kept revealing more.
Then seven Wall Street Journal reporters walked on stage to accept the award. Trump stood up and shook every single one of their hands.
Sit with that for a second. The president who tried to bankrupt this newsroom with a $20 billion lawsuit, who exposed a reporter's home address and forced her family out, who had the paper banned from his own plane, stood in a room full of his peers and shook the hands of the journalists who refused to back down. Whatever that handshake meant to him, here's what it means to the rest of us: the reporting stood. The files got released. The public knows what it knows because those reporters didn't stop.

Dodgers Star Shohei Ohtani Meets President Trump at White House
Los Angeles Dodgers star Shohei Ohtani met with President Donald Trump during the team’s White House visit this week to celebrate their 2025 World Series championship.
Ohtani, widely regarded as one of baseball’s most dominant two-way players, joined teammates for photos and remarks in the Oval Office. Trump praised the Japanese superstar’s accomplishments, including multiple MVP awards and historic offensive and pitching performances, and presented him with presidential challenge coins.
The visit follows a tradition of championship teams being hosted by the sitting president. Ohtani has continued to excel for the Dodgers, combining elite hitting and pitching in a manner rarely seen in Major League Baseball history.
Some social media commentary criticized the meeting along political lines, while supporters highlighted it as recognition of athletic excellence. Ohtani has not publicly commented on the political reactions.
The event underscores the intersection of sports and national politics that often accompanies White House ceremonies for championship teams. Ohtani remains focused on his on-field performance as the Dodgers continue their season.

Trump Weighs Expanded Military Action as U.S. Strikes on Iran Continue
WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump is reportedly considering a significant escalation of U.S. military operations against Iran after more than a week of sustained airstrikes, according to accounts of recent discussions within the administration.
U.S. Central Command has conducted consecutive nights of precision strikes targeting Iranian military command centers, drone facilities, coastal surveillance sites, and maritime assets. The campaign, now in its second week, follows the collapse of a short-lived ceasefire agreement reached in June. Officials have described the strikes as efforts to degrade Iran’s capacity to threaten commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.
Trump has publicly expressed frustration with the pace of negotiations, stating that Iranian officials have not engaged in good faith. In recent comments, he indicated he is close to deciding on a larger-scale operation that could exceed previous strikes in scope. Iranian leaders have rejected mediation efforts and vowed responses to what they term American aggression, while continuing limited retaliatory attacks on regional targets linked to U.S. forces.
The White House has not confirmed details of any imminent major offensive. Analysts note that further escalation risks broader regional involvement and economic disruption, particularly through the vital energy corridor of the Strait of Hormuz. Both sides have signaled that diplomatic channels remain open even as military pressure intensifies.
Developments are expected to unfold in the coming days as the administration weighs its next steps.

The mainstream media's mask is slipping once again. CNN has been forced to admit that top executives deliberately blocked President Trump's powerful address on election integrity, which exposed alarming Chinese interference in our democratic process. This isn't journalism—it's outright suppression of truth that Americans deserve to hear.
For years, patriotic voices have warned about foreign meddling undermining our elections, yet legacy outlets like CNN choose censorship over transparency. Their actions betray the public trust and prioritize political agendas over national security.
President Trump is right to demand accountability by calling for their broadcast licenses to be revoked. It's time to restore integrity to our airwaves and ensure no media giant can silence the will of the people ever again
