Great trade for the Bravos! They get their everyday LF in Kelenic, who was once a touted prospect that found his stride last season. Marco Gonzales could also serve as a valid 4th/5th man in the rotation. No risk deal here and the Braves got an everyday hitter and fill their OF need. AA is cooking! 😈

BREAKING: sign RH Reliever, Reynaldo Lopez to a 3-year 30M deal. His deal also includes a 8M option for 2027 w/a 4M buyout. Over the past 3 seasons, Lopez posted a 3.14 ERA in 189 innings totaling 200+ strikeouts.

What a season. So many memories were made and historic feats were reached this past season.

2022 was such a rollercoaster ride, from Harris and Strider’s heroic rookie seasons, the 14 Game Win Streak, to overcoming a 10.5 game deficit to win our 5th straight NL East title.

No it didn’t end the way that we had hope it would, but I promise you this is still just the beginning for this team. The job isn’t finished.

We here at BCR enjoyed every second with y’all and we’re excited for what the 2023 season holds. And who knows, we might just be those….

BREAKING NEWS:
The Atlanta Braves completed two trades last night. They have sent lefty-reliever Will Smith to Houston and will receiver RHP Jake Odorizzi in return.

Odorizzi has a 3.75 ERA and 3.67 FIP across 12 starts for Houston this season. Expect the Braves to use a 6 man rotation for the next few series.

The Braves also sent minor league LHP Kris Anglin to the Tigers and will get OF Robbie Grossman in return.

Grossman will platoon in LF with Eddie Rosario. Grossman has slashed .364/.479/.519 in 96 plate appearances against lefties this season to go along with a 189 WRC+.

Braves ! 3-1 victory against the Dodgers! Fried was perfect through 5, finished with 7 scoreless! Kenley closes the game out against none other than Freddie Freeman (I swear you can’t make this stuff up).

D’Arnaud got himself a HR tonight accompanied by multi hit days from Arcia, Riley, and Albies! Offense did enough! Matzek held it down and only allowed 1 run off a groundout in the 8th. And Kenley was Kenley! Braves got for the Series WIN tomorrow at 3:10 ET with Charlie Morton on the mound!
