Revelation 4 pulls back the veil and reveals a scene so majestic, so overwhelming, that language can scarcely contain it—a vision of the throne room of God.After the letters to the seven churches, the apostle John is taken up in the Spirit. A door in heaven opens, and a voice like a trumpet cries out:“Come up here!”What he sees next shakes the foundations of reality:At the center of it all is a throne, and One sits upon it, clothed in the radiance of jasper and sardius, surrounded by a rainbow like an emerald halo. Thunder rolls. Lightning flashes. Before the throne lies a sea like crystal glass, and around it—twenty-four elders clothed in white with crowns of gold.Four living creatures—full of eyes and wings—cry out day and night:“Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come.”At their cry, the elders fall down and cast their crowns before the throne, proclaiming:“Thou art worthy, O Lord,to receive glory and honour and power:for Thou hast created all things, and for Thy pleasure they are and were created.”Revelation 4 is not just a vision—it’s a summons.A reminder that heaven is not silent.God is not distant. The throne is occupied. The King of Glory reigns. fans Melanie Okorie SendMe Radio
