Have you ever felt like your voice wasn't being heard? Did you know, “Women are often expected to put themselves last, leading to feelings of invisibility in broader societal roles”? With this positioning, it can lead to much stress, anxiety, depression, loneliness, and health challenges.

Can I tell you what happened the other day?

I’m driving along, minding my own business, when I spot this lady with a huge tree branch sticking out the back of her car! Like, a whole branch just dragging behind her.

I honked, trying to get her attention, but she didn’t even glance to the left or right. Just kept staring straight ahead like nothing was wrong.

Now, here’s the thing... sometimes in life and especially in entrepreneurship, we’re just like her.

We keep pushing forward, ignoring the warning signs or the things that might actually be holding us back. Maybe we don’t want to look left or right because it’s uncomfortable or scary.

But what if someone else sees the branch before it’s too late? What if they’re honking, trying to get our attention, but we just can’t, or won’t, see it?

I want you to think about that today.

Is there something right in front of you that you’re ignoring? Something that might be slowing you down or even causing harm?

And more importantly, are you ready to look left and right when the honking starts?

So that’s the story in a nutshell. Let’s keep our eyes open this week, sometimes the hardest thing to do is just to look.
