Almost always, the creative minority has made the world better – Martin L. King Jr.

We are filming The Black Excellence series in hopes to restore the standard of excellence and quality in all things involving black entertainment. We have long set our goals to deliver quality and excellence in everything we do and have been saddened and discouraged by what we feel is a lack of high quality and excellence in the form of TV shows and films. Our mission is to show that even against the odds along with a micro budget that you still hold yourself to the highest standard and that you bring the best quality possible to anything you create. We know it reflects not only on you but most importantly on the next black creator which impacts their journey to achieve their goals and their dreams.

We believe that quality in entertainment isn’t defined by the cost of your camera or the scale of your production. We believe that it is defined by the quality in your story telling, the time care you put into your stories and characters, the effort and energy you put into your craft and by the standard you put on yourself to achieve excellence in any and everything you work on. We are challenging ourselves to live up to quality and excellence of the great filmmakers and entertainers that came before us. We are challenging all creatives of color to do the same, and we hope that you will accept the challenge and strive for excellence with us on our journey to create black excellence in each of the three short films in this series. We hope that you too will see yourself as one of the greats who help shift the quality of entertainment in our community to a higher standard of excellence than anyone of us could have ever imagined.
