My favorite thing to do before a first look? Ask the groom a question….. my top 5 questions are down below 👇🏼

1. At what point did you know for certain that *bride/groom* was who you were going to marry?
2. What’s something about *spouse* you hope never changes?
3. What are you most excited for in your life together after today?
4. What’s one moment in your relationship you’ll never forget?
5. If you could tell *spouse* one thing right now before you see her, what would it be?

I asked Brandon #1 right before his first look with Danee, and his answer 🥹

Danee and Brandon are THE SWEETEST. The best part? They both ended up telling this same story in their vows. High tide or low tide, they were going to be there for one another. 🤍

And now they just announced their beautiful baby is on the way.

That. Right there. Is why I do this.

Because these little moments become pieces of a much bigger story, and getting to preserve them before you even know what comes next is something I’ll never get over. 🥹🤍

Getting to preserve stories like this will never be lost on me. Only a handful of 2027 dates remain, and I can’t wait to see whose stories they’ll hold 🤍

I’m only taking 2 weddings per month in 2027 because I want every couple I work with to get the attention, care, and excitement they deserve. Soooo here’s what’s currently open:

January: 9th or 16th
February: 6th, 13th, or 27th
March: 20th or 27th
April: 17th or 24th
May: 15th or 22nd
June: 12th, 19th, or 26th
July: 10th or 17th
August: 21st or 28th
September: 11th, 18th, or 25th
October: 2nd, 16th, 23rd, or 30th
November: 6th, 13th, or 20th
December: 11th or 18th

And a little reminder that I’m not taking any additional 2026 weddings at this time… unless you’re having a NYE wedding, because I meannnnn I could be convinced 👀🥂

The timeline, the nerves, everyone asking you questions… and then you see your person and suddenly none of it matters. Just you two, finally together. 🤍

A little piece of so many love stories I’ve been lucky enough to witness this year. 🤍

Sometimes I look through these moments and still can’t believe this is what I get to do. I get invited into one of the biggest days of someone’s life and trusted with the moments they’ll never get back. The shaky hands before walking down the aisle, your mom helping you into your dress, the way your grandparents dance together, the hugs that linger a little longer, the blurry dance floor videos, the quiet looks between the two of you when no one else is paying attention.

Some of these moments are beautiful. Some are chaotic. Some are completely unplanned. And somehow, those are usually my favorites.

I’m just really, really thankful. For every couple who has trusted me, every family who has welcomed me in, and every wedding day I’ve gotten to experience alongside you. Getting to preserve not only what your day looked like, but what it actually felt like, will never be something I take lightly.

These are only a few of my favorites, but there are a thousand little moments behind them that I’ll probably remember forever. 🥹
